1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Beepaway ("Service", "we", "us", or "our") at beepaway.com, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply where they give you rights that cannot be waived by contract.

3. Description of Service

Beepaway provides vehicle-specific digital products and tools related to Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) configuration. Depending on how you use the Service, we may provide:

• Free account registration and vehicle profile storage
• Generation of vehicle configuration requests and configuration files
• A config package delivered after verified queue redemption, consisting of a configuration file and an EU ISA setup guide (PDF)
• Optional coin-based priority access ("verified queue") to receive digital deliverables faster
• A shop for physical OBD hardware sold as a separate transaction
• VIN tools, model requests, and related informational resources

4. Coins, Pricing & Digital Deliverables

Beepaway Coins are prepaid virtual credits purchased through our payment partner (currently PureCheckout). Coins have no cash value outside Beepaway and are not e-money.

Example package at time of writing: 150 coins for €21.40. Prices may change; the price shown at checkout applies to your purchase.

When you spend coins on verified queue access, you receive a digital config package: a vehicle configuration file and an EU ISA installation guide (PDF). Before redeeming coins you must review the deliverables summary and confirm that you understand what you will receive.

Redemption deducts coins from your balance and marks your config as ready for download. Digital delivery may begin immediately after redemption. See our Refund Policy for withdrawal rights.

5. Third-Party OBD Hardware

The setup guide (PDF) describes steps that often require a separate OBD diagnostic reader or related equipment. Beepaway does not sell OBD readers as part of the coin-redemption flow.

We may reference independent third-party retailers. Beepaway is not affiliated with those sellers and does not control their pricing, availability, shipping, or stock. Redeeming coins or downloading the PDF does not place an order for physical hardware.

Compatibility varies by vehicle model, year, trim, and software. You are responsible for confirming that any equipment you purchase elsewhere is suitable for your vehicle before buying.

6. User Accounts

To use certain features you must create an account with a valid email, name, and password (minimum 8 characters). Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account. Sessions are maintained via HTTP-only cookies (typically 7 days). You may log out at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraud.

7. Vehicle Information

When creating a configuration you provide vehicle details including make, model, year, system type, and VIN. Your VIN uniquely identifies your vehicle and is treated as personal data.

You represent that information is accurate, that you own the vehicle or have authority to modify it, and that you will comply with applicable laws where you drive.

8. Configuration Files & Guides

Configuration files and PDF guides are provided for personal use on the vehicle you specified. You must follow applicable laws, manufacturer requirements, and safe installation practices.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle, software version, or diagnostic tool. Visual ISA indicators may remain active; our deliverables relate to the configuration and guide we provide, not to every in-vehicle setting.

Downloads may use time-limited tokens. We may record download timestamps and IP addresses for security.

• Do not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit deliverables
• Do not use deliverables for vehicles other than the one specified
• Do not attempt to bypass security or abuse download limits

9. Payments

Coin top-ups and shop purchases are processed by PureCheckout, a third-party payment processor. Beepaway does not store full payment card numbers.

We receive fulfillment data such as click ID, paid amount, transaction status, and related metadata to credit coins or complete shop orders.

Payment disputes and refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable law.

10. Prohibited Uses

• Providing false vehicle or payment information
• Redeeming coins without authority to accept deliverables on behalf of the account holder
• Automated abuse of queues, downloads, or payment flows
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Service
• Any unlawful use of configuration files or guides

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE AND ALL DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Vehicle modifications carry risk, including warranty, safety, and legal implications. You assume responsibility for equipment you purchase from third parties and for how you apply our guide and config file.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory EU consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, Beepaway is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or third-party products.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, branding, and software are owned by Beepaway or its licensors. Configuration files and guides are licensed for your personal use in connection with the specified vehicle, not for commercial redistribution.

13. Your Data & Submissions

You retain ownership of information you submit. You grant us the rights necessary to store, process, and deliver the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

14. Termination

You may request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Upon termination, access to pending deliverables may end. Certain records (e.g. payment and download logs) may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Digital Content & Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for coin purchases while coins remain unspent. See our Refund Policy.

When you expressly agree to deliverables and redeem coins, digital performance begins immediately and your right of withdrawal for that redemption is lost to the extent permitted by law (including EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(m)).

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be completed], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence if you are an EU/EEA consumer.

We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board unless required by law.
